Muhammad Saghir: Access To Lifesaving Cardiac Care

Muhammad Saghir, a cardiac patient from Pakistan, recalls a difficult and uncertain period in his life. After being diagnosed with a serious heart condition, he was advised at another hospital to undergo bypass surgery—a procedure that was financially far beyond his reach. The recommendation left him anxious and unsure about his future, prompting him to continue his search for a second opinion that might offer both clarity and hope.

It was during this difficult period that he learned about Indus Hospital & Health Network. With a heart full of hope, he came for a consultation. At IHHN, he underwent a detailed assessment, and the medical team carefully reviewed his condition. After evaluation, he was given an alternative treatment plan. Instead of bypass surgery, he underwent a minimally invasive procedure in which three cardiac stents were successfully placed.

For Muhammad Saghir, this moment marked a turning point in his life. His symptoms eased, and he was able to return to his daily routine with renewed strength. Over the next three to four years, he remained under regular follow-up care at IHHN, finding reassurance in continued monitoring and support.

Later, when he began experiencing complications again, he returned to IHHN without hesitation. Once more, he received timely care, and the medical team performed re-stenting to stabilise his condition. Since then, he has continued his follow-up visits, staying connected to the care team that has supported him through each stage of his journey.

Today, Muhammad Saghir speaks with deep gratitude. For him, what stands out most is not only the quality of treatment, but also the fact that every service was provided completely free of cost. This support allowed him to continue long-term cardiac care without the burden of financial stress.

He remains hopeful about the future and thankful for the care that has given him a second chance at life. His journey reflects the importance of timely intervention, continuity of care, and compassionate treatment in restoring both health and dignity.
